Sam William Thomas is a multi-instrumentalist indie-pop artist. Born in Toronto and raised in Burlington, his pursuits pushed him to bring music back to the city. His live shows feature hot sauce and are injected with his addictive stage presence. He and his band have headlined The Supermarket, Sneaky Dee's, Tail of the Junction and The Painted Lady. Bringing catchy pop-like choruses and fun guitar riffs with a collective of incredible bandmates, Sam’s shows are a must-see.
His debut EP Overdue explored the intersection of indie alternative and singer-songwriter, with beloved singles ‘finn’s song’ and ‘dangerous’. His second EP Never Stop went in a rock direction, with experimental instrumentals paired with heavier singles like ‘RULES’ and ‘Smitten'.
His musical journey began on the piano at a young age and carried on with guitar and later songwriting in middle school. Today he is a confident multi-instrumentalist. His music focuses on topics of mental health, romance and themes of escapism.
